I recently stumbled upon this post about Creative Focal Length on the blog Truth and Cake. It was freshly pressed! I thought I would repost it simply because I think it is important for everyone to identify their Creative Focal Length.
I, myself, am completely willing to admit that I have a very short focal length. I dwell in the details and struggle to come up with a solid, cohesive and well-structured big picture. But the best way for me to cope is through working with someone who is so overtly “big picture” that we meet in the middle to craft an excellent full scene constructed of many perfected details. That’s the type of creativity I can feel really proud of producing.
